I totally like watching travel shows. I like seeing how other people live; some very fast paced and others out in the field all day. by themself. When we in our own little world it’s hard to realize that others live so differently.

My question is how much does it cost for an average person if they want to do what you do in your show? Have the one on one tour guide etc. It would be great to do it once without too many people around.

I love the planning and actually being there, wherever I’m headed, but I hate the traveling between home and the destination; and then worrying about making my connections to get home. Next time, I’ll use a travel agent, and we have taken tours on our last number of tours, so that’s wonderful. And we LOVE Samantha Brown, anything thing she does and anywhere she goes!

Samantha, I wish I had seen your Budapest episode before 3 generations of the women in my family (including pre-teens) visited Hungary for just a week. Because all my past European travels were open-ended I never had a plan but stumbled onto a Lot. But in Budapest with only 6 days, although we did see a quite a bit we missed the Franz Liszt Academy and Gypsy music! Two typically Hungarian things — and I’m Hungarian-American! And you are so right. I was also struck by how light and energetic and modern this amazing city actually is!

I love every episode I have seen so far. You take me places I would loved to have gone too but I would still miss your view without you. My least/favorite thing about is the hotel. I am 5′ tall and the trend in the States in tall everything. The bed is impossible to get into , the sink is too tall to get a drink. Really? Are we all giants? This short fat woman objects. I do enjoy your show. My favorite part is your face when someone plans for you to do something weird. You take an involuntarily step back and your face is priceless.

Oh Samantha. I watch your shows religiously!💖 1 trip u made to New Paltz n.y. Mohonk Mtn House & i HAD to go there…& i did in october.🍁🍃🍂 autumn was so beautiful there. You are spot on about the loneliness. Being a celebrity like yourself, it’s great when fans recognize you at exotic locations. Usually, it’s very attractive women, in tiny bikinis, on beaches in St Kitts, St Barts, etc. who usually shout, “You’re Scott Lara!”

While this was fun at first, I’ve learned over time that they only see my good looks, and not the deeper, more personal aspects of my life, feelings and emotions.
