John is a legend in the area and his fruit ice creams are unbelievable. We fly from Los Angeles to Maine whenever we can and go there daily while in Maine. Absolutely delicious.

I came here to suggest Moomers as well. A summertime trip to Traverse City isn’t complete without a stop at Moomers. My favorite is the Mint Chocolate Chip, but everything I’ve tried has been great.
